Precaution for Practicing Pranayama
The following people should not practice Pranayama.
1. Heart patients and people with High BP
2. Pregnant Women
3. Children below 12 years
4. Elder people above 80 years
5. Any one who has undergone any major operation recently
6. People diagnosed with Brain Tumor
Steps involved in Kumbagam Pranayama!
1. Close your left nostril and inhale through your right nostril for 5 seconds
2. Close both the nostrils and hold your breath for 20 seconds
3. Close your right nostril and exhale through your left nostril for 10 seconds
4. Close your right nostril and inhale through your left nostril for 5 seconds
5. Close both the nostrils and hold your breath for 20 seconds
6. Close your left nostril and exhale through your right nostril for 10 seconds
This is one Kumbagam Pranayama. Every day we have to do 54 Pranayama like this. 27 in the morning and 27 in the evening. In one month we have to complete 1620 Pranayama.
